Bridging the Talent Gap

NOTICE:  The October 2nd event has been cancelled. 

• 3 Million Baby Boomers will begin retiring in the next 3 years
• 40% of the current workforce will reach retirement age by 2010
• 3 million jobs will exist without people to fill them by 2012

These statistics and others like them point to a impending crisis -- a labor shortage.  We have more jobs to fill than we have people to fill them, and it's not going to get any better in the short run.


Some are calling this crisis the Y2K of this decade.  Others tell us that this shortage will change forever the way businesses operate.  It's time to rethink how we hire, train, retain, and utilize our human capital.

The current economic concerns are diverting attention away from long-term planning to address this event.  While it is natural to focus on the immediate issues, ignoring this issue will only make it worse.  Our originally planned event did not receive enough registrations to be held on October 2nd.  Still, we hope the information on these web pages will help you begin to work on your own labor shortage issues.
